What's new

The VCEC will hold a one-day workshop on cost-benefit analysis for regulatory proposals on Wednesday 20 June 2012.

Completion of competitive neutrality investigation - Ambulance Victoria

The VCEC has completed an investigation into the rural non-emergency patient transport services of Ambulance Victoria.

The report has found that, for the purposes of the competitive neutrality (CN) policy, Ambulance Victoria’s non-emergency patient transport activity is not a significant business — given the regulatory, policy and funding environment for these services — and has, therefore, concluded that the complaint is outside the scope of the CN policy. For more information, please refer to the Ambulance Victoria - rural non-emergency patient transport services final investigation report.

Inquiry into Victoria's Regulatory Framework
The Treasurer released the final report, and the Government's reponse, on 5 March 2012.

Inquiry into Feed-in Tariffs & Barriers to Distributed Generation
