   Inquiry into Feed-in Tariff Arrangements and Barriers to Distributed Generation
The Treasurer released the Commission’s final report: Power from the People: Inquiry into Distributed Generation, and the Government’s response on 3 September 2012.
The inquiry commenced on 13 January 2012, when the Victorian Treasurer announced that the Commission would undertake an inquiry into feed-in tariff arrangements and barriers to distributed generation. On 27 July 2012 the Commission presented the Treasurer with its final report: Power from the People: Inquiry into Distributed Generation.
A total of 200 submissions were received, with an additional 814 proforma and 100 short form submissions. A number of roundtables and meetings were also held with interested parties. The Commission would like to thank everyone who participated.
