Review of the Labour and Industry Act The Review of the Labour and Industry Act 1958 is now completed. The inquiry commenced on 19 March 2007, when the Victorian Treasurer, John Brumby, announced that the VCEC would undertake a review into the appropriateness of the Labour and Industry Act 1958. The inquiry received a number of submissions from interested parties and the Commission submitted its final report to the Treasurer on 19 June 2007.
