Bruce Cohen

Bruce Cohen was appointed as a Commissioner in August 2007 and served until Feburary 2008 when the Inquiry into Reform of the Melbourne retail water sector was summited to the Treasurer.

Bruce has an extensive background in public policy. He is both a barrister and a principal in private practice in the area of public policy. He is also a director of VicTrack and previously served on the boards of Melbourne Water, VENCorp and Snowy Hydro Limited. Other previous roles included Treasury Director for the Office of Premier and Treasurer of Victoria, and Senior Analyst/Executive Advisor on regulatory affairs with the Australian Bankers Association.
