Supporting reports

In undertaking the inquiry into Food Regulation in Victoria, the Commission appointed consultants and contractors to assist with particular aspects of the inquiry:

  • Inquit Pty Ltd prepared a discussion paper on the impact of international regulation on the Victorian food industry
  • Dench McClean Carlson prepared a paper on the impact of food regulation on the dairy industry
  • KPMG prepared a report on the administrative costs of Victorian food regulation

These papers have been made available to inform public debate on the draft report. The views presented in the papers are those of the consultants. The Commission’s position on the various issues covered by these reports is outlined in the final report.
