Inquiry into Regulatory Impediments in the Financial Services Sector On 18 September 2009, the Victorian Treasurer, John Lenders, directed the VCEC to undertake an inquiry into Regulatory Impediments in the Financial Services Sector. The Commission has released an issues paper on 4 November 2009 describing the scope of the inquiry, the information it is seeking, and outlining the process and timetable for the inquiry.
