  • On 18 September 2009, the Victorian Treasurer, John Lenders, directed the VCEC to undertake an inquiry into Regulatory Impediments in the Financial Services Sector.
  • The Commission has released an issues paper on 4 November 2009 describing the scope of the inquiry, the information it is seeking, and outlining the process and timetable for the inquiry.
